Kick off the 2026 Meeker Mustang Makeover at Pick Up Day with a two-day clinic led by respected horseman Nick Mantle. This special weekend marks the moment trainers meet their mustangs for the first time, and you’re invited to be part of the experience.
Nick will guide participants and spectators through practical, real-world horsemanship focused on building trust, communication, and a strong foundation from day one. Whether you’re a trainer, horse owner, or simply passionate about mustangs, this clinic offers a unique opportunity to learn while witnessing the start of each horse and trainer’s journey.
Join us April 25–26 to watch the process unfold, meet the trainers, and gain valuable insight from an experienced clinician.

Friday, at their discretion; Dr. Gotchey and Steve Mantle (if available) will examine mustangs for soundness and take note of which mustangs can be used for the Meeker Mustang Makeover.
Noon until 5:00 p.m. - Chaperoned Viewing for the public and the trainers.
After 5:00 p.m. - Viewing of mustangs is only available from outside the barrier around the pens (barrels, cones and roped off areas).

8:45 a.m. To 9:00 a.m. - Bring yearling in for the start of the Nick Mantle Clinic and "Load out" of mustangs can begin
9:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. - Nick Mantle "Starting Your Yearling" Clinic
12:00 p.m. To 1:00 p.m. - Lunch Break
1:00 p.m. To 5:00 p.m. - Continuation of clinic

*NOTE: After the Yearling mustangs have been worked, and at is discretion, Nick Mantle may be available to work two-year-old and three-year-old mustangs that have been signed up on Saturday morning, with an agreement between Nick Mantle and the Trainer. There will be a charge for two-year-old and three-year-old mustangs to be worked by Nick Mantle.
